Thank you Sir for writing this. Sometimes these verses get confusing.... The Good Lord called me to cover at all times and I struggle because people think I'm strange and let's just say we don't get invited to a lot of parties (which is fine :-)) As a society, we don't understand the command and blessing of the covering. What strength and protection it gives me, I will probably never be able to convey. People at Church say things to me such as, "your the most beautiful woman at this Church." And I'm not that pretty, and I tell them, "it's really the Covering that's beautiful." And every time they say, "Oh no, that's not it." But it is, because the Covering points to the beauty of Christ and that's what they are seeing. I pray someday we will understand this beauty again. We women are now in great bondage because we don't cover. Society tells us that Covering is bondage but I know the truth..... Uncovering is bondage. Thank you again!Product details

The only thing I disliked is the use of the message translation of the Bible. It's better to keep with more concise translations such as ESV, KJV, or HCSB.
I enjoyed reading this little book. It's nice to know the reason behind head cover is from a biblical perspective.
I have no other desire but to see true churches of the Lord get back to this old fashioned but biblical practice of veiling in His churches . This book has helped a lot in its exposition in its biblical, historical and logical reasons why head covering is a must for godly women. Only the Lord can grant grace to women and their leaders the will to redo this biblical practice. God have mercy upon us.
This booklet gives me pause to think through the reasons I do or don’t cover. Provides Biblical answers to a worldly practice.
This brief volume authoritatively answers the question Should women cover their heads like 1 Corinthians 11 states? The author offers sound reasoning and evidence to support his explanation. I recommend it to all.
If your goal is to decide if the Church historically supported women placing a covering over their hair, this gets the point well. It doesn't stray much from the verses in I Corinthians 11 (which can be good or bad), and reflects that information against comments of historical people who have been revered by Christiandom. On that note, it's not demeaning or chauvinistic. Contrasting opinions are compared to the text itself and not to the historical record.
This booklet spells out why a woman should cover her head in public worship. I appreciated the explanations given from a biblical perspective as well as the quotes from history. I have been wearing a head covering for more than 17 years. It is good to have a refresher on why I am doing this because this is becoming more and more a lost practice. I do wear my covering whenever I am in public and not just for church worship.
